Juliet, TN, Cynthia Sims Garcia and Charlie Bates Sims (Pamela) of Dayton, TN; his grandchildren, Arielle Garcia Hayes (Michael), Joseph Marlin Garcia, Nicole Chapman (Matt) and Matthew Sims; his great grandchild Michael Hayes III; and his siblings, Joe Sims (Linda), Ed Sims, Mildred Barker of Dunlap, TN, Faye Tryon of Dunlap, TN, Catherine Heard of Dunlap, TN, Nancy Vandergriff (Charles) of Dunlap, TN and Patricia Phillips (Ray) of Hixson, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
