With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loyd Grant of Dunlap, Tennessee, who passed away on September 24, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Grant and Edna Grant; his siblings, Reynolds, Freeman, Edwin Grant, Alice Faye Davis, Arley and Wade Grant; and his grandchildren, Tamara Jones and Tao Johnson.
He is survived by: his significant other Sandy Sims; his children, Lesa Grant (Keith Hobbs), Tim Grant (Denise) and Wanda Johnson (Joey); his grandchildren, Nikia Grant, Emilee Hobbs, Tyler Grant (Eryn), MaKayla Grant, Steven Jones, Ty Johnson, Dedra Wilson and Kaci Wilson; his brothers, James and Claude Grant; and his nephew Jimmy Grant (Lena). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327). A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
