He was predeceased by: his wife Henrietta Walker Breland; his parents, Howard Edgar and Pearl Theadosia Stephens Breland; and his siblings, Haskel, Lavelle, Stephen, Richard Carroll, Regina Morrow, Mary Lou Headley, Mava Sue Aplin and Pearl Marie Garraway.
He is survived by: his pet Red; his children, John Henry Breland (Ellen) of Hendon, Thomas Howard Breland of Lewis Chapel, TN, Connie Shull (Don) of Hendon and James Haskel "Jimbo" Breland (Stacy) of Dunlap, TN; and his sister Linda Ward of Hattiesburg, MS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Masks and social distancing are required at the funeral home.
