He was predeceased by: his parents, William James and Beatrice Mason Whittenburg; his daughters, Janice Marie Griffith and Debbie Layne; his brother Robert "Junior" Whittenburg; and his granddaughter Michelle Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Kilgore Whittenburg; and his children, Buster Whittenburg (Leslie), Marty Whittenburg, Jackie Whittenburg, Gina Randall, Loretta Dockery, Stacey Whittenburg and Jennifer Cooley. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Family does request that face mask be worn while at the funeral home.
