She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest May and Beatrice Barker May; her son Gary Merriman; her granddaughter Lori Merriman; the father of her children Doyle Merriman; and her siblings, Jack May, Dortha Kay May, Ethel Lee Benefield, Ann Johnson, Betty Joyce Wright, Joe May and Ervin May.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Merriman (Leesa) and Deanna LaFerry; her sister Katherine Billingsley; her grandchildren, Scott LaFerry (Jennifer) and Elaine Clark (Brad); her great grandchildren, Austin, Hope Privett (Elijah), Caleb, Jacob LaFerry, Myles and Reid Clark; and her great great grandchild Ella LeFerry. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
