He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Early and Loie Powell Hoodenpyl. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his sons, William Hoodenpyl of Chattanooga and Jay Hoodenpyl (Valerie) of Murrells Inlet; and his grandchildren, Dillon, Jack, Phillip, Jaybird and Paul.
