She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Sims and Lillian Hensley Sims; and her siblings, Marlin, Lamar, Samuel, Gary Sims, Mildred Barker and Agnes Sims.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ed Sims of Dunlap, Joe C. Sims (Linda) of Soddy Daisy, Catherine Heard of Dunlap, Nancy Vandergriff (Charles) of Dunlap and Patricia Phillips (Ray) of Hixson; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Sims, Sara Sims of Artesia and Deborah "Debbie" Tryon of Wilmington, IL; and also, Mike Tryon (Gail) of Chattanooga and Meggie Tryon of Oviedo, FL. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to National Kidney Foundation.
