She was predeceased by: her husband W. R. "Whitey" Keener; her parents, William Henry and Beatrace Oxendine; her son Neil Bradley Cummings; and her siblings, Naomi, Pauline, Stella Mae, Hazel and John Oxendine.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Tiska of Dunlap, Loretta Abston (Richard) of Dunlap and William Ray Keener (Shiloah); her grandchildren, Scott Cummings, Mary Rose Crause, Barry Locklear, Evan Abston, Neala Childs, Nakela Tiska, William Keener IV, Brayden Keener and Kamerin Keener; her great grandchildren, Shelby, Branson, Myles, Clara, Caleb, Dawson and Noah; her niece Col. Karla Jo Miller; and her son Quinton Miller. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
