It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddy Randall Boyd (Dunlap, Tennessee), who passed away on April 7, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Eddy Randall farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eddy Randall is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramah Lucille and Elliott H. "Red" Boyd; and his brothers, Jimmy Burt Boyd, Terry Lynn Boyd and Bobby K. Boyd.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lana Boyd Barker (Edward), Gene Boyd and Billy Boyd. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Collier Cemetery (Pikeville, TN 37367). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327).
