She was predeceased by: her husband John Paul Ashley; her children, Leon, Ed, Tom Cooley, Betty Ashley Hutson and Mary Cooley Brown; her grandchildren, Sonya Cooley, Laura Ashley and Charles Larry Ashley Jr.; her parents, Ellen Shubird and Coy Shubird; and her siblings, Arnet, Ernest Shubird, Una Pauline Ridge, Ruby Moore and Dicey Shubird.
She is survived by: her children, Susie Johnson (Clyde) of Dunlap, Linda Faye Ashley of Dunlap and Charles Larry Ashley; and her sisters, Wilma Hale (Richard), Rosa Smith and Mary Clymens. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
