Doris Irene touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Hubbard Houston Cole. She is survived by: her father Dan Houston; her son Timothy Stockwell; her brother David Cole; her husband Alvin Stockwell; her sons, Troy Stockwell, Shawn Stockwell and Chase Stockwell; her siblings, Delores Simmons (late Richard), Debbie Morgan (Joe) and Dewayne Cole (Gloria); her grandchildren, James, Bradley (Bree), Cameron and Colton Stockwell; and her great grandchild Bennett Stockwell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Layne Funeral Home, Inc. (32871 TN-108, Gruetli-Laager, TN 37365). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at the Stockwell Family Cemetery.
