She is survived by: her husband David Thurman Sr.; her children, Lisa Smith (Bobby) of Lakeland, FL, Donna Thurman of Dunlap, TN and David Thurman Jr. of Dayton, TN; her grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Bobby Smith II (Sasha), Thomas Smith, Hope Ingle, Amanda Thurman, Amy Thurman and Ashley Ferguson (Stephen); and her siblings, Marilyn Rigsby of Pikeville, TN, Sarah Hill of Dunlap, TN and Marshall Daughtrey (Rebecca) of Pikeville, TN.. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Standefer-Reed Funeral Home (50 May Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (34 Brea Rd, Dunlap, TN 37327).
