He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Henry and Pearl Geneva Hickey Custer; and his wife Patricia Custer. He is survived by: his girlfriend Dora "Dolly" Childress; his daughters, Tonya Roberts (Jay) and Tara Shell (Tommy); his siblings-in-law, Margaret Pfeffer (Doug) and Steve Headrick (Becky); his grandchildren, Austin Young (Caylea), Jagger Roberts (Jessica), Summer Fullam, Shawn Shell and Cameron Shell; and his great grandchildren, Lynnon Young, Avery Wallace, Jace Roberts, Layton Shell, Brynlee Shell, Oakley Shell and Luke Shell. He is also survived by several cousin and many special friends.
