It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny Morrison Raines (Dunlap, Tennessee), who passed away on January 12, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Raines and Dessie May Williams Raines; and his siblings, Thelma "Toot" Horn, James "Bud" Raines, Jackie "Jack" Raines, Mary "Judy" Hawkins, Tom Raines, Margaret Raines Guffey, Ricky and Vicky Raines.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Holland Raines; his children, Joshua Swafford (Doris Huffman), Jason Swafford, Jessica Churches (Tim), Jillian French (James Gray), Bailey Hobbs (Gus) and Maycee Swafford (Robert Rude); his grandchildren, Peyton Swafford, Kaylynn Churches, Hannah Swafford, Karter Churches, Braxton French and Knox French; his siblings, Maxine Farley and Cecil Raines (Janet); and his close friends, Donald Holland and Eddie Rains. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
