He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pickett and Nell Pickett; his sister Dot Layne; and his grandparents, Bob, Ester Pickett, Ransom and Electra Terry.
He is survived by: his wife Eva June Pickett of Soddy Daisy; his children, Robert Curtis Pickett of Dunlap, Tracye Pickett of Elkhart, Taylor L. Pickett of Dunlap and Tenesa Nixon (Scott) of Chattanooga; his stepdaughter Cherie Reel (Eddie) of Soddy Daisy; his grandchildren, Zach Pickett, Kristen Pickett, Courtney Frost, Jordan Reel (Brianna), Kaylan Rector (Kelly) and Brantley Pickett; and his pet Lucy.
