He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Gibbs and Mary Elizabeth Farley Gibbs. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Dotson Gibbs; his children, Shirlene Henderson (Lee), Dewayne Gibbs, Michael Gibbs (Sara Lee) and Randy Gibbs; and his grandchildren, Ethan Henderson, Sam Henderson, Jarrett Gibbs, Danielle Elizabeth Gibbs and Katelynn Gibbs.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ewton Funeral Home & Cremation Center (6936 TN-28, Dunlap, TN 37327).
