She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward "Red" and Alyene Grigsby Tate; and her brother Thomas Edward Tate. She is survived by: her daughter Maegen Jackson (Dennis) of Queensbury, NY; her sisters, Marie Higgins of Rock Island, TN and Nancy Seals of Pikeville; and her grandchildren, Johnathan Gravitt and Carter Jackson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
