He was predeceased by: his father Willie Branan Sr.; his brother Willie Branan, Jr.; and his stepfather Gus Mathis. He is survived by: his mother Anna Layne Mathis; his wife Brenda Frizzell Branan; his brother Larry Branan; his sons, Clifford "Cleo" Branan (Amber) and Matthew Branan (Magan); his stepson Joshua Frizzell; and his daughter Pennie Bennett. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
