He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Hixson and Margie Hixson; and his brother Harland Hixson. He is survived by: his wife Norma Lee Hixson; his children, Michael C. Hixson and Cindy Narramore Neely (Doug) of Blairsville, GA; his grandchildren, Amber Stephenson, Andrea, Taylor Neely (April) and Amanda Fine; his great grandchildren, Jayden, Braiden of Katy, M. J. and Nolan; and his sister-in-law Mary Frances Hixson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
