He is survived by: his wife Brenda McDaniel Sherman; his son Stan Sherman (Stefanie); his grandchildren, Tanner, Lawton Sherman, Robert, Jacob Easterly and Joslyn Sherman; his daughter-in-law Katie Stocker; his siblings, Bobby (Delia), Donnie Sherman (Jane), Betty Dickerson, Joyce Layne (Charles), Bertha Pickett (Jackie Wayne), Inez Oakes and Donna Hankins; and his brothers-in-law, David Cribbs (Dorothy) and Tony Cribbs (Gina).
