We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2023, at the age of 85, Alton Edsel Wells Sr. of Dunlap, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Wells and Alpha Hatfield Wells; his former wife Frances Naomi Merrell Wells; his son Wayne Wells; his wife Lucy Mae Frizzell Wells; and his siblings, Charles, Raymond, Jimmy Wells and Janice Adkins.
He is survived by: his children, Cathy Tate (Hal), Alton Ed "Eddie" Wells, Jr. (Jeff), Bambi Wells Williams (Roger) and Melissa Wells; his stepson Ray Frizzell (Tammy); his siblings, Ola Darlene Dressig and Gerry Cummings; his grandchildren, Justin Wells, Katie Hobbs (Jimmy), Caleb Wells (Shelley), Samy Wells (Melissa), Logan Wells (Kelsey), Annie Sizemore (Matthew), Peyton Tate and Meagan Smith (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Brook Wells, Brianna Wells, Dylan Wells, Maddox Hobbs, Tate Hobbs, Marlee Sizemore, Lucas Walker, Jase Sizemore, Raylan Sizemore and Tristan Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
