He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Marlow and Susie Marlow; and his siblings, Raymond Marlow, Hershel Marlow, Dorothy Cooper, Edna Bowlin and Georgia Cooper.

He is survived by: his wife Edelene Marlow; his children, Donna Gail Claxton (Danny) and David Keith Marlow (Sue "Missy"); his grandchildren, Christopher Leach, Joshua Claxton (Laranda), Derick Marlow, Zachary Marlow and Amber Kipley (Ed); his great grandchildren, Ezekiel Claxton, Adeline Bella Rose Claxton and Cayden Kipley; and his siblings, Raymond Bolden (Janie) of Ohio, Sam Marlow (Judy), Ronnie Marlow (Cheryl) of LaFollette and Bobbie Jean Marlow (Jerry) of North Carolina. He is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
