He was predeceased by: his wife Betsy Terry Fox; his children, Betsy Irene Barnes and Gary Fox; his grandson Thomas Wade Barnes; his great grandchildren, Zeke Fox and Ragnar Hall; his parents, John Fox and Cynthia Walden Fox; his son-in-law Roy L. Miller; and his siblings, Hazel Lloyd, Rose Mae Wilson, Helen Terry, Tommie Sue King, Darlene Morris and George Fox.

He is survived by: his children, Glenna (Ray Woods), Tackett Creek Teresa (Randall Caldwell), Helenwood Sheila (Benjamin Cox), Eagan Carrie Huddleston, Jellico Alice Miller, Carl Fox, LaFollette Jerry (Sue Fox) and White Oak David (Anita Fox); his son-in-law Timmy Huddleston; and his sister Brenda Bolton Faye Marlow. He is also survived by 27 Grandchildren 26 Great-Grandchildren 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
