He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Hensley and Mable Kaylor Hensley; and his brothers, Stephen "Stevie" Hensley and Walter "Rusty" Hensley. He is survived by: his daughter Tara Hensley of Norton, VA; his great grandchildren, Mason Bailey, Aiden Bailey, Conner Ison, John Silas Ison, Bridgett Hensley and Hania Rucinska of Poland; his stepchildren, Laura and John James; his stepgrandson Evan of Etowah, TN.; his stepchild Torrey Lester (Katie); his stepgrandchildren, Addie Kate and Caedon of Ringold, GA.; his wife Kathi Hensley; his pets, Andi and Peyton; and also Julian Smith.
