She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilburn Sr. Wilson and Addie Wilson; and her siblings, Leon, Doris, Wilburn Jr., Mary and Jimmy.
She is survived by: her husband John F. Cathey; and her sons, Perry, Troy, Gene and Garry Cathey. She is also survived by her 26 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Alzheimer's Association of Memphis, and Youth Villages, formally known as Boys Town.
