Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Richard Joyner of Drummonds, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 77, on November 18, 2021. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Charlene, Eddie and Danny Joe; and his daughter Sherry. He is survived by: his wife Kay Alsbrook Joyner; his children, Kindle Willis (George) and Richard Joyner, Jr. (Angela); his grandchildren, Kaylee, Kate, Madison, Nikki and Brooke; and his great grandchildren, Parker and Addilyn.

The family requests any memorials be made to Tipton County Schools.

“I didn’t get to know Mr. Richard very well, but as I worked for both him and Mrs. Joyner they always made me feel welcomed in their home. They talked me up about my Alsbrook background and told me a lot about my family history which I can appreciate for sure. He was always friendly and kind to me and it meant a lot especially during a stressful work day. I hope the best for him and his family during this time, and just wanted to come here and say even the smallest moments have big impacts.”
