She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Maude Irene Pace Gayle; her husband Venoy Gross, Sr.; and her sister Peggy Tycer. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Merriman (Jimmy Raye) of Mason, Bo Gross (Melanie) of Munford and Tonya Kenney (Roger) of Drummonds; her sisters, Bobbie Ross of Clinton, LA, Debbie Price of Bluff Creek, LA and Rhonda Maples of Bluff Creek, LA; her grandchildren, Cody Gross, Thurston Merriman, Taylor Glenn (Jordan), Kayla Moody (Morgan), Lydia Alsbrook, Dalton Alsbrook, Darrian Kenney (Catarina) and Kaitlyn Smalley (Scott); and her great grandchildren, Heidi Gross, Mason Smalley, Walker Smalley and Elizabeth Smalley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Covington Funeral Home Chapel (3499 U. S. 51 S, Covington, TN 38019). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Beaver Baptist Church.
