With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Stanley of Drummonds, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 30, 2024 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband James Edward Stanley, Sr.; her parents, Patrick Kelly and Elizabeth Kelly; her son James Edward Stanley, Jr.; and her sisters, Barbara Johnson of Memphis, TN and Patricia Major of Houston, TX..

She is survived by: her children, Janice E. (Tony), Cynthia A. (Robert), Patrick C. (Ginny), Donald W. (Brenda) and Perry A. (Joey); and her grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer, Joe Dan, David, Kelly, Jessica, Cory, Melissa, Kristina, Joshua and Zachary. She is also survived by twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forest Hill Funeral Home (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at the Forest Hill East Cemetery (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133).
