He was predeceased by: his father James Gillihan; his son Billy Joe Gillihan; his wife Vickie Crowe; and his siblings, Linda Johnson and Ronnie Gillihan.
He is survived by: his sons, James Gillihan, Shane Gillihan and Chris Gillihan; and his siblings, Mike Gillihan of Drummonds, John Gillihan, Jesse Gillihan, Andy Gillihan, Sam Gillihan, Cathey Wright of Burlison, Terrie Love of Millington, Robbie Harchfield of Arkansas and Barbara Gillihan of Brighton. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
