He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice Rogers; and his parents, Harvey Rogers and Eutha Rogers. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Rogers of Greenfield, TN and Bonnette Palmer of Dresden; and his sister Luan Cooper of Dresden, TN.. He is also survived by four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
