She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Hall and Hassie Hall; her brother Daniel Hall; her former husband Joe Franklin Anderson; and her husband Norval Dwayne Maddox.

She is survived by: her son Clay Anderson (Kayla); and her grandsons, JoeBlake and J'Britton Anderson.

In Lieu of flowers, it was Sue's wish that donations be made in her honor to the First United Methodist Church building fund which was destroyed during the 2021 tornando.
