He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Dula; his wife Opal; and his granddaughter Rheanne. He is survived by: his brother Roy; his son Donald; his grandchildren, David and Lexi; and his great grandchildren, April, Sabrina, Brad Renee', Mazie and Travis.
