He was predeceased by: his parents, L. C. Barner and Mary Lou Snider Barner; his sisters, Kathy and Patricia Barner; his son Lewis Shawn Barner; and his granddaughter A'quazia Kennedy.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Barner (Tina), Ronnie Barner (Amy), Bryan Sutton (Paige), Melissa Garrett (Andy) and Jennifer Thomas; and his brother Steve Barner (Darlene). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Bowlin Funeral Home (279 W Main St, Dresden, TN 38225).
