We are sad to announce that on April 22, 2023, at the age of 83, Lonnie Buford Mullican of Dowelltown, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fate and Zona Goodwin Mullican; his granddaughter Kayla Hurst; and his siblings, Alvie Mullican, Gloston Mullican and Austin Mullican.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Mullican of Dowelltown; his children, Melissa Bishop (Brett) of Murfreesboro, Teresa Bryant (Don) of Dowelltown, Tony Mullican (Terri) of Manchester and Christy Barrett (Jimmy) of Dowelltown; his grandchildren, Lonnie "Rusty" McCloud, Chase Bryant, Tara Colwell (Matt), Amber Schultz and Amy Beena Afoakwa; his great grandchildren, Nimue Grace McCloud, Lucy Hurst, Layla Kai Colwell, Shiloh Schultz and River Schultz; his niece Jayrah Hire; and his nephew Doug Mullican.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses or to someone less fortunate, in memory of Mr. Mullican.
