He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Edgar and Ruby Alice Barrett Hale; and his parents-in-law, Houston and Helen Keith. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Hale of Dowelltown; his children, Jared Edgar Hale of Dowelltown, Derrick Edmund Hale of Dowelltown and Bonnie Jaqueline Hale of Dowelltown; his grandson Mason Bocephus Hale of Dowelltown; his sister Sherry Hall (Gerald) of Alexandria; and his sister-in-law Sandra Kay Freeman (Ricky) of Smithville. He is also survived by several nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The family has asked in lieu of flowers donations be made to DeKalb Funeral Chapel to help with funeral expenses.
