He was predeceased by: his parents, Luke McGuill and Ella Beatrice Meece. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Meece of Dowelltown; his sons, Scotty Meece (Christen) of Portland and Mark Meece of Hendersonville; his stepdaughters, Angela West of Carthage, Sharon Barnwell of Sparta and Mindy Ware of Sparta; and his sisters, Susan Meece of Old Hickory and Myrna Sisco Meece of Mt. Juliet. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 great-niece and 1 great-nephew.
Due to the COVID-19, the Governor strongly encouraging that the public component of funerals be postponed and only attended by immediate family members, social distancing requirements and public health safety, There will be a PRIVATE Graveside Service Monday, May 11, 2020 at DeKalb Memorial Gardens with Bro. Michael Hale officiating.
