With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Sexton Riggins (Dover, Tennessee), born in Stewart, Tennessee, who passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton McGregor Sr. and Ida Smith McGregor; and her siblings, Leroy McGregor, Alene Hilmus Crockarell, Louise Hogan, Wilton McGregor, Robert McGregor, Elwin McGregor, Clayton McGregor Jr., Eugene McGregor and Billy McGregor.
She is survived by: her son George Sexton (Karen); her stepchildren, Vanessa Ellarson (Johnny) and Van Riggins Jr. (Melinda); her grandchildren, Brittain Sexton (Lindsey), Sarah Sexton Walters (Chris), Jonna Yarbrough Vanna (Kevin), Callie Crews (Ryan) and Van Riggins III (Naomi); and her great grandchildren, Quentin, Vincent Sexton, Clayton, Grant Walters, Drew, Kate, Sofi, Luke Yarbrough, Caylor, Vayla Jackson, C. J., Daveion Crews and Bruce Riggins.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Fort Donelson Memorial United Methodist Church.
