Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sidney Sykes (Dover, Tennessee), born in Stewart, Tennessee, who passed away at the age of 96, on June 1, 2019. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Dewey and Beatrice Tubbs Sykes; his wife Faye Love Sykes; and his siblings, June Whitford and Vernon Sykes.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Riggins (Wayne) and Scotty Sykes (Susan); his grandchildren, Misty Wallace (Curtis), Brandy Gothard (Bryon) and Simon Sykes; and his sisters, Etta Jane Earhart of Memphis, TN, Martha Sue Cook and Nancy Thompson. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Taylor Chapel United Methodist Church, Cemetery Fund.
