It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Compton (Dover, Tennessee), born in Stewart, Tennessee, who passed away on July 19, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Pepper and Martha Hogue Pepper; her husband Billy Jack Compton; and her siblings, Tom Pepper, Charlie Pepper, Gene Pepper, Lurton Pepper, Mary Henry and Mattie Skinner.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Joe Compton (Theresa), Indian Mound, Tommy Dale Compton (Rhonda), Michael Brandon Compton (Jennifer), Big Rock and Lisa Hunter (Art). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
