She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Askew and Winnie Askew. She is survived by: her husband Darrell Cook; her sons, Randall Cook (Lisa) of Lovettsville, VA, Joel Cook (Kathy) of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Darren Cook (Lucynda) of Dover, TN.; her grandchildren, Joshua Cook, Brody Cook, Cody Cook, Ethan Massie, Mackenzie Cook and Darryll Cook; and her sisters, Janell Atkins, Jean Carl, Vanetta Stavely and Lauretta Askew. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
