She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Raymond Franklin, Jr. and Evangeline Fowler Franklin Parkes; and her husband Jimmy Dale Hicklen. She is survived by: her siblings, Ronnie Franklin of Huntsville, AL, Billy Franklin of Fayetteville, TN, Timothy Franklin of Hokes Bluff, AL, Barbara Ann Crawford of Fayetteville, TN and Cynthia Renee Parton; and her siblings-in-law, Bruce Hicklen of Murfreesboro, TN and Faye Shannon of Andmore, AL..
