She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Causey and Lucy Mae Wofford Causey. She is survived by: her husband William Edward Hinson; her brothers, John Bernard Causey, O. T. Causey and Paul Causey; her son-in-law John Hartman; her children, Larry Hinson (Ann), Clayton Hinson (Lana), Diane Murphy (Bob) and Shirley Hartman; and her siblings, Nina Wallace, Brenda Withers, William Causey and Robert Causey. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
