He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wallace and Lela Mattie Wallace; his wife Verna Jo Wood Wallace; and his son Mitchell Owen Wallace. He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Sherrie Wallace of Indian Mound, TN; his sister Betty Wallace Blackwell of Clarksville, TN; his granddaughter Tara Wallace of Clarksville, TN; and his great grandchild Hunter Steffen of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
