It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Griffith Newton of Dover, Tennessee, born in Gary, Indiana, who passed away on May 16, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Oliver Griffith and Velma Louise Lawson Griffith; her children, Cynthia Leigh Burger and Donald Allen Burger; and her siblings, Elizabeth Dean Murphy, Louise Rene Schammert and Bud Griffith.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Lynn Barrow (Norris) of Dover, TN, Kathryn Irene Fadely (Michael) of Las Vegas, NV, John David Burger, Jr. (Sophia) of Portage, IN, Raymond Earl Burger (Dawn) of Moorcroft, WY and Jeffery James Burger (Mary) of Portage, IN; and her siblings, Patricia Leigh Miller (Samuel) of Carson City, NV and James Patrick Griffith of Griffith, IN. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
