She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas McGovern and Gertrude Atkins McGovern; her husband J. C. Lane; her siblings, Brandon McGovern (Thelma), Bradford McGovern (Ora Lee), Ellen Rose McGovern, Lizzie Lee Earhart (Ray), Margaret Melton (Willard), Susie Mae Wallace (Corbett), Georgia Harrison (Clinton), Lillian Irene McGovern, Lela Mathis (Clarence), Isabell Milliken (Tom) and Bertie Beatrice McGovern; and her brother-in-law John Butler. She is also survived by her sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Good Samaritans, Dover, TN or the American Cancer Society.
