He was predeceased by: his father Charles Kent; and his brother David Lee Kent. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kahn Kent; his mother Mary Quinn Kent; his daughters, Emily Bieda (Allan), Andrea Johnston (David) and Takoma; his grandchildren, Noah Kent Bieda, Lucas Allan Bieda, Whittaker Louis Johnston and Harriet Louise Johnston; his siblings, Charles Kent, Jr. (Freda) and Deborah Kent Williams (Rick); and also Dover.
