She was predeceased by: her parents, Laurence Edward Saunders, Sr. and Irene Hargis; and her son Carter Welker Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Laurence E. Saunders Jr. (Nelda); and her sons, James Welker (Tonya) of Dover, TN., Donnie Welker (Gayle) of Dover, TN. and David Welker of Dover, TN.. She is also survived by three grandsons, four great grandsons and one great granddaughter.
