He was predeceased by: his sister Janie Paul. He is survived by: his wife Nelda Filson Young; his son Britt Stevens Young (Marie); his sister Doris Phifer (Bill); and his stepchildren, Regena Nunn and Tim Filson (Shelia). He is also survived by six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
