He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Smith and Rena Smith; his son Tommy Smith; and his sisters, Ruby Reecer, Thelma Abshire, Eva Howlett, Frances Crutchter and Charlene Drake.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Smith; his children, Danny Smith (Desiree) of Dover, TN, Rhonda Norville (David) of Dover and Beverly Waynick (George) of Woodlawn, TN; and his brother Edward Smith. He is also survived by grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
