He is survived by: his parents, James Douglas and Ersye Merryman Amonette; his spouse Margery P'Pool Amonette; his children, Jean Thompson (Carey), Lydia Bursi (Mike) and William Douglas Amonette; his grandchildren, Emma Bursi (Amy) and John Bursi (Kylie Myers); his stepgranddaughter Kate Brison (Todd); his nephew Jason Amonette (Harriet); his sisters-in-law, Camilla Amonette and Lydia Bradford (William M.); his nephew Thomas Bradford; his niece Susan Bradford; and his aunt Frances Amonette Brown.
